    Location, Location, Location

Our location is ideal for North Shore students looking for a middle school or high school option that will allow them to maximize the hours in their day instead of commuting to and from school.

To apply, please review the Application for Admissions Instructions for requirements and guidelines.

Application for Admissions Instructions

School admits students of any gender, race, color, lifestyle, sexual preference, religion, and national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Puʻukumu School does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, lifestyle, sexual preference, religion, or national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and other school-administered programs.

Admissions priority is given to siblings of current students, children who attend elementary schools on the North Shore, and children whose parents live or work on the North Shore. However, admission is not automatic for applicants in these categories, and all new student applicants must go through the application process for admission.

Self-direction is the hallmark attribute of a Puʻukumu student and our academic model is geared to students who desire, and have the capacity, to take ownership of their learning. Therefore, we encourage you to tour our campus, visit us to observe our classrooms first-hand, and speak with our staff and students. For campus tours, please call Sarah Wright at (808) 320-3746 to set up an appointment.
